His organic blend of South American flavors and electronica has been supported by respected music fans, DJs, and journalists alike. Axel has a truly original and imaginative style, ranging from South American folk influences, jazz, tango, exotica, dub, and soundtracks. Axel began studying music at age 8, and has been influenced by such figures as Egberto Gismonti, Serge Gainsbourg, Nino Rota, Caetano Veloso, Mingus, Monk, George Brassens, and many more!
